Rob’s Window Tinting Effective date: October 30, 2026

These terms cover how Rob’s Window Tinting, LLC (“Rob’s Window Tinting,” “we,” “us”) handles messaging, quotes, appointments, and our work. That includes window tint for vehicles, farm equipment, homes, businesses, boats, and RVs, plus paint protection film, paint correction, ceramic coating, and detailing. By messaging us or booking with us, you agree to them.

Text messaging

Program name: Rob’s Window Tinting text messages

  • What we text about: quotes, appointment confirmations and reminders, updates on your job, and warranty follow-ups. We don’t send marketing texts.
  • How you sign up: you text or message us first, or you give us your number when you book. When you text us, or we text you about a quote or appointment, messages may be sent by RCS through Google’s RCS for Business service.
  • How often: message frequency varies. It depends on how much you text with us about your quote or job.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. Your carrier sets those.
  • To stop: reply STOP at any time. CANCEL, END, QUIT, and UNSUBSCRIBE work too. We’ll send one last text that says: “Rob’s Window Tinting: You’re unsubscribed and won’t get more texts. Reply START to resubscribe.”
  • To start again: reply START or UNSTOP.

  • Carriers and Google are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Quotes

Quotes are free. A quote is based on what you tell us about the vehicle, equipment, or building and the film you pick. The final price depends on the vehicle and film, and can change if things turn out to be different once we see it. We’ll tell you before we do any work that changes the price. Quotes are good for 30 days unless we say otherwise.

Appointments

We work by appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We’re closed Saturday and Sunday. We also travel up to about 200 miles for some jobs. Travel jobs have a minimum job total of $450, depending on distance.

  • Please arrive on time. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
  • No deposit is needed to book at this time.
  • Some jobs need the vehicle for longer than planned. We’ll let you know if that happens.

Cancellation policy

Our schedule is built around appointments. When someone cancels at the last minute or doesn’t show up, it’s often too late to fill that time with another customer.

  • 24 hours’ notice or more: no cancellation fee.
  • Same-day cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice): a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total.
  • No-call, no-show: a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total, which must be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.

This covers the time we reserved just for your appointment. Thanks for understanding and for supporting a small local business.

Window tint laws

Kansas and other states limit how dark tint can be on certain windows. We’ll tell you what we know about the Kansas limits. If you ask for tint darker than the legal limit, we can install it, but you’re responsible for that choice and for following the law where you drive, including any tickets or required removal.

Warranty

We install Solar FX window film, which comes with a lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, fading, bubbling, and film failure. The warranty covers the original customer and doesn’t transfer to a new owner. To make a warranty claim, call, text, or email us using the contact details below.

  • Paint protection film: 10-year warranty.
  • Ceramic coating: the warranty length depends on the coating package you choose. We’ll tell you before we start.

The warranty doesn’t cover damage from accidents, scratches, cleaning with the wrong products, rolling windows down before the film cures, or work done by someone else.

Our responsibility

We do careful work, but we can’t be responsible for problems we didn’t cause, like existing damage to glass, defrost lines, or seals. Where the law allows, our responsibility for any claim is limited to redoing the work or refunding what you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
